Cards & Gifts Fit for Royalty
With just a few weeks to go before the Jubilee celebrations begin this seems a great time to do some royal shopping, and pick up some stylish Diamond Jubilee-inspired gifts.
First up, from the super cool Kiss Her is a limited edition ‘Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Cushion’. A glamorous, officially-licensed image of the young Elizabeth following her coronation. Printed by hand in black ink on linen, and finished with a cute pom pom trim. Each commemorative cushion is stamped on the reverse with ‘The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 1952-2012’. There’s a limited run of just 150 cushions, so grab yours quick before they disappear. The 45cm square cushion with feather pad is £75 from the Kiss Her website.
To celebrate the Jubilee Honeytree Bespoke has created a selection of stationery designs based on exclusive artworks. Pictured above are my favourite designs from the collection: cute corgis, a modern, minimalist take on the Queen’s Guards, and a pretty Buckingham Palace illustration. Stationery formats include a pack of 10 thank you cards at £18, or a set of 20 correspondence cards for £29; prices include envelopes and a presentation box. To see more visit the Honeytree Bespoke website.
Today’s final Jubilee gift inspiration is from the fabulous Twisted Twee. Tea towels have traditionally been the ultimate commemorative gift for royal events, but Twisted Twee Designer Suzi Warren has updated the tradition, adding bold text and cool, funny phrases. I love the detail of the ‘Loyal Subject’ tea towels, which feature Queen’s heads and corgis in the print. Available to purchase from the Twisted Twee website, Jubilee tea towels are £15 each.
