Cool Cards for Cat & Dog Fans

To close the week I wanted to share a few of my favourite cards from Reigning Cats and Dogs. The latest card range from poet Peter Cole and Illustrator Claire Lousie Barrie. The fun and humorous range has greetings cards for every occasion. Each featuring adorable dogs and cool cats; it’s a must-see range for pet lovers everywhere.

This is not the first collaboration for Peter and Claire, who have previously created greetings cards for leading publisher Paperlink. Reigning Cats and Dogs however sees the pair independently publishing for the first time. An exciting step, which will hopefully lead to more from the range in the future.

Currently there are 31 greeting card designs for everyday, spring and Christmas. I love that the cards focus on balancing sharp, sweet illustrations with funny sentiments. It gives the cards a sleek, modern style, allowing the colourful illustrations to pop out from the crisp, white card.

The 140mm square cards are printed on Eco-friendly, FSC certified card stock and matched with a ribbed brown envelope made from recycled paper. Designed, printed and packaged here in the UK, the cards are a delightful way to celebrate man’s furry friends. See what you think …
