Judith Brown Jewellery Launch New Elegant Opulence Jewellery Range.
Adding to their growing range of handmade accessories, Judith Brown Jewellery has recently created the Elegant Opulence Jewellery collection.
Based in the lovely town on Leek in North Staffordshire, Judith Brown Jewellery specialise in nostalgic, handmade accessories. I first came across Judith’s work several years ago at the British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF) although the company has now been in business for over ten years.
Since 2004 designer Judith Brown has been stitching wire jewellery. Her pieces use vintage haberdashery such as hooks, eyes, press studs and antique mother of pearl buttons for unique and timeless elegance.
Like Judith’s previous collections the Elegant Opulence Jewellery designs are delicate yet durable pieces. Designed primarily as a collection of bridal accessories some of the pieces such as the earrings and necklaces also double up as special gifts that can be worn daily.
The new jewellery designs are handmade with freshwater pearls, glass beads and silver. Bridal accessories include headdresses, headbands and combs. Each piece is handmade with silver, vintage or vintage-inspired lace, beads and pearls. A beautiful combination of materials perfect for both modern and classic weddings.
In the coming months we can expect to see the Elegant Opulence collection grow further. Judith is currently working on transferring some of the designs featured today using oxidised silver and coloured glass beads. These new designs should be ready for BCTF 2015 so keep your eyes peeled.
Prices for the Elegant Opulence jewellery range start at £18.00 for a pair or earrings to £240.00 for a headdress. See the full collection at the Judith Brown Jewellery website.
