Introducing a New Collection & New Direction for Katey & Josephine.
Since their first appearance on Card & Gift Network in last year’s Stocking Filler Gift Guide, Katey & Josephine’s new collection has taken the pair in a new direction.
Setting aside their range of accessories the pair have chosen to concentrate on producing high quality homewares, decorated with their own beautiful prints. In today’s post, I’m happy to be able to share a look at their first collection.
First meeting in 1984 (aged 7) Katey & Josephine (aka Kate and Jo) are life-long friends who also happen to be very talented at designing and making.
While the original idea for the Katey & Josephine brand was conceived way back in 1998, life got in the way (as it does) and it was not until 2014 that the pair were ready to start their business.
Over the last year the pair have been stitching, painting, collaging, drawing, scanning and reworking their designs to create their first homewares collection.
Starting with cushions and lampshades, the new collection has been created with fun and intriguing stories designed to delight customers and bring them into the creative process.
The collection comprises unique patterns: Paper Flowers, Rush Hour, Dandelion Mill, Rain Shower and Antoinette. From beautiful florals to architectural patterns, the prints compliment each other perfectly while providing unique looks for a variety of personal tastes.
Each pattern is digitally printed onto 100% cotton fabric right here in the UK. The fabrics are then handmade into high quality lampshades and cushions ensuring every Katey & Josephine story has a happy ending.
Featured items: Lampshades (30cm diameter, 21cm height) £56. Cushions (feather inner) 45 x 45cm are £45 and 30 x 50cm cushions £48. To see the full collection, stock or purchase from the new collection please visit the Katey & Josephine website.
