Coulson Macleod The Truth Hurts 129

Discover ‘The Truth Hurts’: the New Typographic Greeting Cards from Coulson Macleod.

‘The Truth Hurts’ is a brand new range of typographic greeting cards from Coulson Macleod. Proving that the truth really does hurt, the new collection tells it like it is; carefully crafted funny sentiments that deliver unique birthday wishes.

We first saw Coulson Macleod introducing greeting cards to their product range back in 2014, and it’s been great to watch this collection grow over the last couple of years. Delivering everything we love about Coulson Macloed’s art range in a miniature greeting card format.

With The Truth Hurts designs Coulson Macleod’s founders Hannah and Mark have created a distinctive birthday range. Greeting cards that mix simple, elegant typography with funny sentiments poking fun at the delights (and pains) of growing older.

As we’ve seen in Coulson Macleod’s typographic art gifts, designer Mark utilises his 25+ years of experience in graphic design to create a modern typographic style that perfectly compliments the messages of each card. The design-led range uses a monochrome colour palette, which further emphasises the sentiment and gives a stylish, minimal feel to the range.

The Truth Hurts collection of typographic greeting cards has been launched with 10 designs; 5 x general birthday cards, 3 x 18th birthday designs, a Happy 40th Birthday and a Happy 50th Birthday card.

Each card measures 150 x 150 mm and is printed on a heavyweight, textured, 300gsm card stock. Like all Coulson Macleod card and gift products, each design is made here in Britain, supporting British craftsmanship.
