New Speech Bubble Cards are Selling Like Hot Cakes.

With the continued popularity of personalised cards, it’s great to see card publishers finding inventive ways to add the personal touch. Bubbles is the latest card collection to offer the chance to personalise. A range of colourful new speech bubble cards from The Square Card Company.

Officially launched at this year’s Autumn Fair with 32 designs, the range is already proving a hit. So successful in fact that the cards are flying off the shelves and in the few short weeks since the Autumn trade shows the collection has already expanded to an impressive collection of 55 everyday designs and 6 Christmas-themed cards.

The range has been designed by The Square Card Company’s founder and chief artist Kali Stileman. Each displaying Kali’s signature quirky style and fantastic use of colour. Designs are then finished with a blank white speech bubble above the artwork, ready for a personalised message of your choice. Silly, sweet, funny or touching, you can write anything you want, meaning the range is perfect for adults and children alike.

The artwork on the speech bubble cards is all taken from original collages, which have been digitally printed on lovely thick watercolour paper. A card stock that allow Kali’s trademark use of bright colours to zing.

In it’s first few months since launch the Bubbles range has also made an impact on the industry’s awards scene, securing a finalist spot for the Best Children’s Range at the 2015 Henries Awards and for Best Published Preschool Range at the 2015 Progressive Preschool Awards.

With such an auspicious start, I can’t wait to see where The Square Card Company take Bubbles next.

The featured speech bubble cards are The Square Card Company’s largest cards to date (and they’re definitely not square!), measuring 12.5cm x 17.5cm. Cards retail at £3.00 each or can be printed with a personal message of your choice for £3.50 via The Square Card Company website. The range is also available in independent shops throughout the UK.
