Spreading the Majesty: Long Live Royal Gifts.

To celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th Birthday on 21st April 2016 Kikkerland have created a limited edition Solar Queen.

There’s even a super cute Solar Corgi to keep her company during royal duties.

Queen Elizabeth II became the longest reigning British monarch on 9 September 2015 when she surpassed the reign of her great, great, grandmother, Queen Victoria. With this new limited edition version of the best selling solar powered waving Queen, Kikkerland aims to pay tribute to this historic achievement with a fun new addition to their range of royal gifts.

In the limited edition version this adorable royal wears a smart red dress, a spectacular crown and finishes her best royal outfit with a diamond brooch.

The solar panel on Queenie’s handbag means that if placed in the sun (or near a bright light) she starts to wave. Powered entirely by solar energy, the royal solar figurine will wave with a subtle twist of the wrist, the same rehearsed gesture our Queen has been perfecting for 63 years!

This is the 5th solar Queen designed for Kikkerland by British designer Chris Collicott whose past creations include the Original Solar Queen, Wedding Queen, the Royal Jubilee Queen, the Derby edition and her best companion, the Solar Corgi.

Fun fact: the Queen of England has 5 Welsh corgis: Emma, Linnet, Monty, Holly and Willow. Her Majesty loves corgis so much that designer Chris Collicot created Elroy, a corgi companion for the Solar Queen.

This limited edition Solar Queen will delight royalists, history buffs, or simply anyone with a sense of humour; a great gift with royal pedigree.

Where to Buy Her Majesty’s Royal Gifts.
