Pulse Get Ready to Present the Freshest Design Talent and Unseen Brands.

This weekend sees the arrival of 2016’s Pulse, a trade show dedicated to bringing inspiring giftware and modern living to the industry. At the forefront of the Pulse philosophy is the desire to introduce buyers to emerging design talent from both the UK and overseas.

Running from 15th -17th May at Olympia London, the 2016 show will see the Pulse team play host to over 500 exhibitors, a market-leading panel of design and trend experts and thousands of trade buyers.

Having attracted a flock of young designers and new brands to the show, the Pulse team are once again celebrating new and exciting design talent in show sectors, trails and curated platforms. Making it even easier for buyers to experience cutting edge design.

Alongside the familiar and popular ‘Launchpad’ sector, this year’s Pulse also sees 3 exciting curated platforms Raw, UAL Now, Secret Emporium and FOUND, a design trail dedicated to emerging international design talent.

In today’s post, I am delighted to share a preview of each of these areas.

Raw

Raw presents a collection of 15 Gift, Homewares and Fashion brands; start-ups that have been trading for less than one year.

Highlights include Lauriger (Stand R18), a selection of luxury homeware from leading European designers within the art world. United by a shared heritage in traditional craftsmanship, each artist brings their own modern view to create unique, timeless products. Designs range from complex 3D porcelain to geometric wooden serving boards.

Another must-see exhibitor in the Raw sector is Anna Hayman (Stand R15). A collection of Lino print designs, which are transformed into ceramics, textiles, stationery, soft furnishings and kitchen items. With an eye-catching colour palette the collection is playful, modern and well worth a look.
