The Search is on for the New Stationery Designers of Tomorrow

The London Stationery Show organisers have recently unveiled ‘LaunchPad London’, a competition for individuals and companies aiming to break into the stationery industry.

Returning for its third edition at the 2018 London Stationery Show, LaunchPad London is looking for exciting new stationery designers who can contribute to the growing stationery industry.

If you have new products or services for the stationery industry this competition is for you.


The LaunchPad London Prize

The LaunchPad London competition seeks to find up to 12 individuals or companies. These competition winners will be given a free stand at the 2018 London Stationery Show in April.

The annual specialist trade show attracts the UK’s biggest retailers, influential buyers and brands in the stationery sector.

As part of its offering of fantastic writing and paper products, 12 stands will be reserved for the LaunchPad competition winners to showcase their ideas and products to show visitors and fellow exhibitors.

As well as winning a free display space at the show, the LaunchPad London winners will also have the opportunity to enter the Stationery Awards 2018; a competition open only to show exhibitors.

Both LaunchPad London and the Stationery Awards 2018 offer a chance for the next generation of stationery designers to gain great exposure to all the UK’s leading retailers and suppliers; they’ll also receive PR and marketing support from the London Stationery Show team.

Commenting on the competition, Hazel Fieldwick, Event Manager for the London and Manchester stationery shows said:

“There are plenty of opportunities for those with innovative ideas and enthusiasm. The two trade shows are currently the only dates in the stationery industry calendar where so many key suppliers and retailers come together, so they are the perfect platform for this type of initiative.”


How to Enter LaunchPad London

The LaunchPad competition is open to any company or individual who:

  • Has not exhibited at either the London or Manchester Stationery Shows previously.
  • Has the rights to sell the featured product/range/service.
  • Does not currently sell the featured product/range/service through any UK national retail accounts or distributors in the stationery retail sector.

The closing date for entries is Friday, 9th February 2018.
