Pulse 2018 Where Trends Are Born

Held annually in May at London’s Olympia, Pulse 2018 is a trend-led event for new products, brand launches and retail inspiration across living, fashion accessories and gift sectors.

Running from the 13th – 15th May show organisers are (as I type) busy preparing an event that will offer retailers something different, unique and invaluable.

The exhibition will offer trade visitors a look at emerging designer-makers, new A/W 18/19 launches, trend forecasts, undiscovered international brands and Christmas collections. Not to mention a full programme of seminars with business advice from a panel of industry experts.

With less than 2 months to go before the show’s doors open to buyers from across the world, I want to share a quick first look at what’s in store at Pulse 2018.

Makers

The Makers sector will provide an inspiring edit of products from a talented new wave of designer-makers.

Some of the fabulous designers exhibiting at Pulse 2018 include Animaro Design, Catherine Lewis Design, Cotton Clara, Factory Floor Jewels, Rope Studio London and Text from a Friend to name a few.

Jewellery Emporium

New to Pulse for 2018 is the Jewellery Emporium, bringing you a unique selection of unseen jewellery designers together at the show.

Confirmed are brands Tribe + Glory, WildFawn and Regia Jewellery, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

 

Fashion

Discovering future trends is easy thanks to the highly edited fashion offering at Pulse.

Some of the exciting fashion brands who will be at the show include Black and Sigi, Shyla Jewellery and Mahi Leather.

UAL Now

Visitors to University of the Arts London’s (UAL) feature stand at Pulse London will get an exclusive preview of new products by emerging designers.

The university will present a hand-picked selection of design products, created by 13 of its students and alumni at the show this May. Many have never exhibited at a trade show before, making UAL’s stand the place to discover the names to watch in design.

The stand will feature a diverse range of products, from furniture and household products, through to handbags and scarves, prints and stationery.

 

ShopTalk

Rounding up our first look at Pulse 2018 is ShopTalk, which this year is organised by 5×15.

Curating inspirational talks and workshops, 5×15 promise to deliver an insightful programme for you at Pulse 2018.
