About the Illustrator

A World Full of Animal Stories features beautiful imagery from Nomadic illustrator AITCH.

Originally hailing from Romania, AITCH prefers not to put down roots in any one place; new scenery inspires and invigorates her tactile, folky illustrations and a constant string of exhibitions in cities across the continent pushes her technique further.

Her dreamy characters hide amongst William Morris-esque gardens and bring to mind a bright and bold reincarnation of Victorian melancholy while still retaining a strong sense of her Romanian heritage.

This unique illustrative style works to great effect in A World Full of Animal Stories adding a magical, almost mystical tone to the tales.

Books as Gifts

For fans of traditional books like myself, the use of Kindles and eReaders isn’t something I’m fond of but it has had one fabulous effect for myself at least.

It’s highlighted the importance of special editions of real books and how such books make excellent gifts.

Books like A World Full of Animal Stories make a great gift as they go beyond a regular paperback. The care and attention that’s put into how the book is presented in both imagery and typography give it an extra special touch, elevating it to an item that makes a great addition to any home library.
