Thinking of You Week 2019 is Just Around the Corner

Thinking of You Week 2019 is returning for another special week of sending and receiving greeting cards.

The aim is simple, to create a wave of happiness around the world!

This year’s event will be the 6th Thinking of You Week and will run from the 22nd – 28th September 2019.

The annual celebration of all things “card” is the brainchild of the UK’s Greeting Card Association (GCA), who have long recognised the benefits of sending greeting cards to our friends and family.

Speaking of this year’s event, GCA CEO, Amanda Fergusson commented

“In this fast-paced world where everyone seems glued to their smartphone or tablet, it’s easy to forget what a wonderful feeling it is to receive – and send – a hand-written card,”

UK Retailers Taking Part

With this year’s event just 3 weeks away many retailers are busy planning their Thinking of You events.

Industry magazine PG Buzz has reported that many big names in greeting card retail, including Clintons, Scribbler, Paperchase, Moonpig and Funky Pigeon have all pledged to take part in this year’s event.

How You Can Get Involved

Taking part in the Thinking of You Week celebrations has never been easier.

The GCA have created a Toolkit, which can be downloaded from the event’s website, which contains a press release template, posters, flyers and several social media graphics.

If you’re seeking inspiration for events you will also find a heap of helpful resources that will show you how to take part.
