Working hard to ensure that the products they supply are the highest quality, Portico Designs source materials from proven sustainable sources that are ethically and responsibly managed.
Stengun Drawings – Stand U27
Stengun Drawings is a botanical design company that offers a collection of greeting cards and Giclee prints. The collection combines Caroline Stenning’s love of flowers with a passion for art and design.
Each print is made using an original acrylic painting, created by Caroline at her East London studio. The vivid backgrounds behind each bloom and blossom are rolled by hand, while the botanicals themselves are inspired by trips to some of Caroline’s favourite places both home and away: Kew Gardens, the Barbican Greenhouse, Amsterdam, and Hawaii.
The diversity of these inspirations means her subjects range from the flowers of an English country meadow to tropical plant life.
Studio Wald – Stand Y31
Wald aims to make life simple and satisfying with a range of products that are thoughtfully designed and look good.
Printing methods are important to the designed products and they use many techniques, such as Letterpress printing for the Paper Clock or screen-printing for the Flower Press. This combined with their considered material choices, like natural papers, clean cut ply, soft felts and natural cotton, combine to give their work a distinctive aesthetic.
Studio Wald is an ethical company, with printing carried out locally on recycled papers; waste is minimised and longevity is encouraged in their designs.
UWP Luxe – Stand X28
UWP Luxe is a boutique line of pop-up greeting cards, laser-cut stationery, and elegant home goods. The company believes that paper, the humblest of mediums, holds so much potential.
In their collection, UWP Luxe aims to have the integrity of their beliefs shine through all of their products, from elaborately foiled pop-ups to dainty details printed onto envelope flaps.
