See the New Homewares Coming to Pulse 2018
When Pulse 2018 opens its doors on Sunday one of the biggest draws of the show will be the homeware brands of the Living Sector.
Every year Pulse continues to attract a host of exceptional homeware brands and this year the trend continues.
From textiles and fragrance products to dining and decorative items the sector has a host of design-led brands bringing cutting edge design and innovation. And the great news for us, many of the items make unique gifts!
In today’s post were taking a quick look at 10 exhibitors with new products for the home.
The Brands Making their Mark in the Home
Betsy Benn – Stand J51
Betsy Benn will be launching their brand new velvet cushion range at Pulse London 2018. A world exclusive, the cushions can be personalised with a bespoke map of any location. Utilising on-trend Velvet, the Betsy Benn team were keen to embrace the tactile sensation of the material, while adding their own unique touch. Building on the success of their map prints, this Betsy Benn collection creates a unique and beautiful way to capture special places and memories on plush velvet. The cushion collection offers 7 stunning colours to suit any home décor.

Bonito Clocks – Stand M42
Inspired by the calm, graceful and efficient movements of fish, London based Bonito is making completely new kind of timepieces – Bonito Clocks! With their iconic moving pendulum tails and lustrous metallic patterns, Bonitos are fun must-have home accessories that fit any home, restaurant or office. The company is also partnering with The Blue Marine Foundation, to contribute 15% of every sale to ocean preservation projects around the world.

Cubic – Stand H32, F32
This spring Cubic has ventured into new homeware products that will sit perfectly with their best-selling gift ranges – Printed Mirrors and Clocks adorned with beautiful imagery. One range to include the new items will be ‘The Haeckel Collection’; homewares featuring intricate illustrations by Biologist and Naturalist Ernst Haeckel.

Designed in Colour – Stand F20
For Pulse London, Designed in Colour will be launching the ‘British Colour Standard© Classic Candle Sticks’. The lacquered designs are ‘Scandi’ with a British twist; painted wooden candlesticks available in on-trend tones.
Designed in Colour support sustainable manufacturing processes and these Candle Holders are responsibly sourced, utilising solid hardwood off-cuts; hand-turned in a small family workshop in India. The candlesticks use the British Colour Standard© dictionary of colours, launching with an initial selection of 8 colours across two sizes, which make a stylish must-have for every design-lover.

Home of My Heart – Stand C9
Home of My Heart represents a collaborative joint venture between emerging fine artist, Rachel Redfern and textile designer, Kate Titley; two individuals with a desire to allow the home to be where the heart is. The pair produces attention-grabbing graphic patterns on interior design products. At Pulse 2018 they will be showcasing their new ‘Fusion’ range of candles and diffusers, alongside a growing collection of lampshades, cushions and artist blankets.

Ian Snow – Stand G18/H18
Ian Snow is an ethical homewares store, selling products that have their own stories to tell. The company has an extensive range of handmade, fair trade homewares that bring colour and style to any home. Amongst the new products launching at this year’s Pulse are a series of tropical floral stainless steel storage canisters, which are handprinted in Kashmir.

Liljebergs – Stand L30
Liljebergs is a collection of images based on Göran Liljebergs photography of insects and other objects from nature. Behind each image is Göran Liljebergs’ great passion for butterflies, insects and nature; as well as his many years of dedication to the art of Photography. The stunning photos make a wonderful addition to any home; capturing small creatures in large magnification. Printed on 200-gram quality paper with pigment inks of the highest quality the prints are designed for longevity.

ALSO Home – Stand H20
Continuing on from the success of their Spring/Summer 18 collection, ALSO Home has created their first mid-season range, celebrating 10 years since the brands’ conception. Launching in May 2018 the Summer collection has been lovingly crafted to create a simple but luxurious mood, celebrating the art of living well and elevating every day. Stuart Gardiner Design – Stand K15
Whiskies Tea Towel
Stuart Gardiner Design is a husband and wife design duo that create culinary-themed infographic home-wares. Founded by Stuart in 2009, all products are designed, manufactured and hand finished in Britain from ethically sourced organic materials. At Pulse 2018 the pair will be launching their new ‘Guide to Whiskies’ design, which will be available as an A2 print or as a tea towel.

The Beeswax Co – Stand L49
The Beeswax Co’s Food Wrappers
The Beeswax Co manufacture Waxed Cotton Food Wraps, as an alternative to single-use plastic wrap. Hand Crafted by The Beeswax Co team in Byron Bay, Australia, the wraps utilise GOTS certified cotton from India. Each wrap is screen printed using GOTS certified fabric ink, before being coated with local Beeswax, Organic Coconut oil and Tree Resin. Completely sustainable, ecologically non-toxic and biodegradable and compostable, these wraps are a useful addition to any home.
