Amazing New Greeting Cards Launching at Pulse 2016.

In today’s post we’re taking a closer look at more new greeting cards, this time launching at Pulse 2016

This week has been all about the new. We’ve seen another batch of new greeting cards launching at PG Live. We’ve also had previews from Pulse London taking in new design talent and new trends. I’m delighted to continue the ‘new’ theme with this latest selection of greeting cards.

A unique array of card designs that show that quality and creativity is alive and well in the industry.

So without further ado let’s have a sneak peek at some of the new greetings cards that will be showcased this weekend at Pulse 2016.

Bespoke Verse create poetry-themed cards and gifts that aim to say “just the right things” … with rhyme. Giving every day moments to special occasions the perfect words and wit their poems are thoughtfully crafted at their studio in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Complete with feathers these 3 owl cards are just part of the collection Pulse 2016 visitors can find at the Cluck Cluck! stand. Cluck Cluck! specialise in bringing charm and wit to a range of products from hand-finished cards to kitchenware; each decorated with original drawings featuring chickens, pheasants, owls and a growing number of other birds. Designed for dwellers in the town and country the range is entirely made and sourced in England.

Counting Stars – Stand J30.

It’s not that long ago that I showcased Counting Stars here on the blog for the first time. The free-spirited little sister company of industry favourites Five Dollar Shake, Counting Stars will be at Pulse to introduce visitors to their brand new ‘Talisman Glow’ collection; gorgeous greetings cards with stunning neon glitter. Season Paper – Stand K18.


For those who love to write on lovely patterned stationery, Season Paper is a must-see stand. A creative French studio based in Paris, Season Paper imagines, produces and distributes a delicate and colourful line of vintage inspired paper goods. All of their products are printed with their original designs and made in France. At Pulse 2016 they will be introducing visitors to their Dolce Vita Collection.

Fawn and Thistle – Stand UAL.

Fawn & Thistle was founded in October 2013 by illustrators and long-term friends Kirsten McNee and Sangita Southgate. Having once sat together in art class in school, they are now running their own business from their studio in Kent. Taking inspiration from nature, the animal kingdom and storytelling, Fawn & Thistle create a range of products featuring their intricately drawn illustrations. Look out for their unique ‘Party Animals’ greeting cards being shown at Pulse.

Jade Fisher – Stand C23.

Jade Fisher believes in celebrating simply with family and friends; a handwritten message, a surprise card in the post, or a sweet little gift … “just because”. The aim is to make these moments extra special with lovingly created cards, gifts and stationery. The collection is designed and hand-painted by Jade, taking inspiration from American folk art and natural beauty. All of the cards and envelopes are 100% recycled and produced in the UK.

Jessica Nielsen for Zonnelijk – Stand J59.

Zonnelijk (zon – uh – lik) is a word from old dutch meaning “like the sun”. Founder Ffion distributes the work of dutch designers Jessica Nielsen and Jurianne Matter in the UK. It is important to her that the collection of paper products, homewares, gifts and stationery are eco-friendly and produced in an ethical way. At Pulse 2016 they will be showcasing a brand new set of greeting cards by Jessica that are being shown in UK for the very first time.

Kelci London is a boutique London design studio enthusiastic about creating unique, charming products and artworks. Kelci Jun set up the studio in 2015 with the aim to produce beautifully designed, stylish, pattern products. Inspiration is drawn from Kelci’s experience wherever she travels in cities and unique spaces. The Kelci London collection like the birthday cards featured is focused on architecture, cities, historic, people, characteristics, atmospheres, colours and cultures.

Lizzie Chancellor – Stand C32.

Lizzie Chancellor creates simple, clean and sophisticated cards with hand lettered fonts and hand drawn illustrations. The greeting cards are printed on beautiful sustainable board sourced from the Lake District and matched with a Kraft recycled envelope.

Lola Design is a small independent creative business based in the lovely city of York. With an ambition to create joy through beautiful design, they specialise in premium greeting cards, art prints & ceramics. All of the cards and gifts and designed by Lola and produced here in the UK.

Noodoll is a whimsical, playful, design brand, creating striking accessories, happy monsters and charming stationery for big and little ones. From their studio is based in London each Noodoll product is lovingly created with an aim to make their customers smile. Amongst the collection being shown at Pulse 2016 you’ll find these fab greetings cards, complete with cute characters and decorative illustration.

Lollipop Designs – Stand H11.

Last year Lollipop won the award for ‘Best New Product’ in Home. Since then they have been hard at work designing new products and extending their best selling ranges. The team are excited to be back at Pulse 2016, where they will be launching a whole host of new designs. Look out for these Origami Orange designs, a perfect way to spread a message and a little cheer. Designs which follow a distinctly Lollipop Design style, as they say …

Plewsy is a light hearted illustrative brand based in North Yorkshire. Launched by Fiona Fawcett in 2014, the company produces greetings cards and stationery products that are cute, fun and designed to make their customers smile. Plewsy’s illustration style is layered, vibrant, illustrated in Yorkshire and always made in Britain.
