Sewing Kits & Creativity Delivered Straight to Your Door.
Craft Club Box have recently launched a new website offering monthly sewing kits as the latest must-have subscription gift.
Craft Club Box is the creation of Designer and online Fabric Shop owner Courtney Hill. After being inundated with requests for sewing kits, Courtney created Craft Club.
The idea was simple to design new sewing kits each month that would provide all the supplies sewing fans needed to complete that month’s project.
Understanding that her customers were busy but still wanted to take on craft projects, the sewing kits provided an easy solution. A chance to be creative without the need to find project ideas, shop for supplies or take home more materials than were needed. Removing one more hassle from their to do lists, and allowing them to just enjoy the creative process.
The Sewing Kits
Each of the sewing kits is purchased as a subscription gift. The recipient receives a new box by post every month. Each box has a sewing kit with instructions, extra craft products to grow their collection and a supporting eMagazine, which follows by email.
There’s no contracts and buyers can adjust or cancel the delivery of their sewing kits at any time. Craft Cub also offer a ‘no risk guarantee’, enabling the first box to be returned if it’s not liked.
Previous kits include: a ‘Flex Frame Purse with Hexagon Appliqué, a sewing kit to make a ‘Felt Poppy Brooch’ and a kit to make a ‘Sewing Caddy’.
A New Website.
Having previously had one website for both her fabric shop and the Craft Club subscription service, Courtney decided it was time the sewing kits got their own spot on the web.
After 3+ years of designing sewing kits Courtney has perfected the subscription boxes; offering the surprise of the main project and the delight of additional craft extras.
“Now we think we’ve pinned down the perfect boxes. The kits have wow when the box is opened and we’ve added a supporting eMagazine with loads more ideas and Pinterest boards to drool over.
The result has been a growing number of sewing kit subscribers.
“I guess not only have we tapped into the modern movement of slowing down and taking the time to make something by hand, but also that secretly, there is a little kid inside all of us who loves opening surprises”.
The Designer Behind the Sewing Kits
Craft Club’s owner & founder Courtney Hill is a designer, online shop owner & once-upon-a-time legal eagle.
From her base in the beautiful Cheshire countryside she started her online fabric shop 8 years ago, a new career that would give her the time and flexibility to see her 3 young children grow. From her online fabrics emporium, the idea for Craft Club grew and it’s been going strong for the last 3 years.
Courtney first learnt to sew as a child from her Grandma on an old Singer machine. A skill that has developed into a lifelong love, and a thriving gift business.
Her aim for Craft Club is to design modern kits that can be completed by new sewers, but also keep the interest of more experienced crafters too.
Each box has her personal seal of approval, with each kit being designed as something that Courtney herself would love to receive through the post.
