Chau Art is a newly established luxury greeting card & stationery company based in Oxford with a focus in paper and laser cutting. At this year’s Pulse they will be showing a new collection of papercut notebooks; ideal for note taking, diary planning and sketching. Lili Price Studio is run by Lili Price, a London based Graphic Designer & Illustrator, who regular readers will remember from our look at the new designers debuting at Pulse 2017. Launched just 4 years ago the studio specialises in hand-drawn designs, which are printed onto a variety of stationery, accessories and giftware. At the show Lili will be showcasing this lovely range of floral notebooks, which feature original illustrations captured in a striking black and white colour palette.

In 2013 (with the help of Kickstarter) Textile Design Graduate Nina Dogmetchi wrote and illustrated her first Children’s Book and launched Imagination Illustrated. The company creates art-inspired stationery, children’s books and textile products, all decorated with Nina’s beautiful, dreamlike artwork. For Pulse 2017 Nina will be showcasing her new Exotic Notebooks, which feature lined paper pages and beautifully printed covers, finished with luxury gold foil highlights.

Last in our preview of top notebooks launching at Pulse 2017 is this collection of notebooks from Before Breakfast. The collection uses FSC-certified paper sourced from the UK and Japan, which is printed at the company’s East London studio using soy based inks, and hand-sewn in the UK. Fitting the current trend for geometric designs, the notebooks look equally at home on a desk or tucked into a school bag, handbag or briefcase.
