New Greeting Cards Embrace a Rock ‘n’ Roll Spirit
It’s an exciting time of year here in the UK as the greetings card and gift industry prepares for the Autumn trade shows. I am hoping that I will get enough time to visit one or two of the big shows, and find lots of fabulous new cards and gifts to share on the blog. One of the exhibitors I will be looking out for at this year’s Autumn Fair (held at the NEC in Birmingham) is Windsor and Woolf. They’ve been kind enough to share a sneak peek of the new ranges they will be exhibiting at the show, and I can’t wait to see them in person. The Windsor and Woolf team have been fantastically busy adding to their collection and there is an extensive number of new designs, for today’s post I’ve picked a top ten of my favourites from the Monochrome, Baroque and Tattoo ranges. As you can probably guess the first images are from Monochrome, which celebrates British iconography through the eyes of the 1970’s punk scene.
Baroque is a collection inspired by 17th century furniture catalogues and oppulent flower-filled rooms. I love how the text has been incorporated into the designs.
The Tattoo collection is a range inspired by vintage naval tattoos. I love the fun, frivolous feel of the greeting cards …
Windsor and Woolf will be exhibiting the new additions to their greetings card collection at this year’s Autumn Fair, stand 4A06 – don’t forget to pop by if you’re attending the show. For those of you unable to make it to Birmingham, please visit the Windsor and Woolf website for more information. (2017 update: the website is not currently available).
